A cute story: About a month ago the son of my future clients reached out for a quote to take his parents to Tahoe and back.
Now, I'm used to long drives, but I always try to get to know someone's needs before committing to a multi-day trip, so I offered a meet & greet so they could get to know me, and if they felt comfortable, then proceed with booking the trip.
Turns out we got along great and chatted for almost an hour; they were such a sweet and sincere couple.
They used to go to the same cabin at the same resort on Lake Tahoe every summer, until about 3 years ago due to health matters.
So after a bit of talking you could hear the hope and excitement in their voices that they'd be able to restore their annual Tahoe getaway! We also made sure they could fit all their things and goodies for their two-week stay.
It was very sweet and endearing to see their reactions when crossing over the mountain ridge and seeing Lake Tahoe for the first time in 3 years.
To many more summers on that blue lake!
