Had a lovely chat with a passenger today in Palo Alto. We got to talk about everything and the kitchen sink due to traffic. She reminded me of my mom, and turns out I was the same age as her son. It was a really genuine conversation.
Today reminded me of what so many complain about, technology dividing us vs bringing us together. Well, today humanity won, and I made a friend along with an endearing memory.
Drove a client's in-laws a few hours home. They're elderly and super sweet; kept hearing stories of her being a teacher and him a computer salesman (Delta)… and which roads to take 😅
People are precious, glad I got to befriend them. Reminded me why I love what I do!
Had a fun trip tonight, a full SUV of ladies heading to SF, singing (like really loudly singing!!!) all the lyrics to Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift.
Sometimes clients are silent, sometimes it's a party!

Made some fun new clients this week. Always a great time when people like to chat; it really does make the time (driving) fly by!
Very thankful for all of the great people I've met and befriended since moving to Santa Cruz. Their support and (of course) loyalty has been a blessing beyond words.
